Control Room

Who is in the control room of our hearts. Love is so funny. For some like myself it is hard to gain, harder to give  and even harder to keep.

But once its given out....do we ever really get it back? Some past lovers we never really let go of. We just move on from. We grow distant and keep it that way. For the sake of all parties involved.

Many times there is that one person that can make you experience eight emotions at one time. Not all good. Not all bad. But an emotional Tsunami leaving you confused. Many times they have control over you.  Right when you have  convinced yourself that you have moved on and you don't need them they drain you of all your natural resources. My point is this...when we love people and we leave them or they leave for a better choice of words when the "in love feeling" has gone...why do we store the emotional baggage that is left behind. Why are we addicted to the fight, the emotional tug of war?

Who is running the control room of our hearts? Why is it that there is the one person that still makes your heart beat a rapid yet  melancholy beat at the speed of eight times beat. But you know it would never work. Why is it that the emotional baggage of 10 years of a relationship never really becomes lost luggage. 

If there is always someone running the control of our heart how can we possibly give it to someone else? How can we ever love someone whole hearted. And if we can't love someone whole hearted then should we not love them at all.  What's more is if there is someone running the control room of your lovers heart how can you fully indulge? Because, someone has to be in charge and it is hardly you, monitor who runs your control room. 

"As we drive this road called life, Occasionally we will find ourselves a little lost and when that happens, I guess you have to let go of the coulda shoulda wudda, buckle up and keep going."
