Crank up the heat

Shuffeling through my morning blogs I came across a very interesting article.
Apparently, Ms. Knowles-Carter is not only breaking charts selling records...
but her frangrance as well. WWD, as well as The Cut report that the Macy's chain store sold
$3 million of the fragrance between February and March.
Not to mention on the day of her instore the company sold
72,000 bottles!

L.i.v.e.L.i.f.e

A very close friend taught me a lesson....
Life, you can't always plan the outcome of
a situation. Sometimes you have to let it play out....
Often, it  won't workout the way you  plan anyway.
You can't make a game plan before you know the game.
I am really grateful for my lesson....

Sometimes I wish I could have known things
in the beginning before the experience...
but today I realized...where is the fun in that?

Live is built for us to live and learn,
if we neglect to either...we aren't living.
That is definitely one thing I wish I
would have known in advance.
Thank you all the same.

xoxo

3rd Annual Black Women in Hollywood Luncheon

While I have always longed to be a "lady who lunched."
These amazing women have the opporunity to, and amongst their peers.
African-American actresses have traveled an unpaved road for many years.
These women, continue to travel that road, and lay a foundation for those that come
after them. They are breaking records, receiving amazing accolades, and being recognized not only as an African-American Actress...but just an Actress.
For all little girls at home with big dreams, we thank you.
You teach them, there dreams too are not far fetched.

Now.....on to the Fashion...
Best Dressed goes to: Jada Pinkett and Nia Long.
I love a belted mini dress. It's Classic and tasteful
