Vogue Italia Relaunch

Vogue Italia has relaunched their website to now include a page for Vogue Curvy (for full-figured woman), Vogue Black (for African Americans), and Vogue Talents (for up-and-coming talent). The site includes features such as video interviews, photo galleries, articles, and more. Along with the relaunch of the website has come controversy.

Many are glad to finally see Vogue Italia extend their coverage to all walks of life but many remain bothered by the fact that it done so separately. Instead of Vogue Italia including these new pages within the website as a whole it instead excluded them as if they are too inferior to be included on to the main page. Although Vogue Italia did issue an All-Black issue it makes  us feel as women of color with curves that we do not deserve to be incorporated into the magazine on a regular basis. Vogue Italia does not stand alone for their separatist ways we also have to fault our own magazine companies such as Essence Magazine & Latina Magazine for focusing on one particular race. Do we blame ourselves for this unjust behavior?

You can visit the re-launched Vogue Italia site here.

Charlotte has been one of my FAV designers for a few years now.
I love her girly fabrics, feme cuts and last year I died over a cute aztec (ish) print
wrap sweater.

Loved the Boho feel of the show.
