There have been very few men whose style remain consistent 

time and again.

Seems like I have been doing a lot of soul searching lately.

Which lead me back to this video. It is one of my favorites for many reason.

The calmness that she exudes has always been alluring to me.

I dream to posses that level of calmness.

For years I have been insearch of this life. A little simple mixed with a little creativity, mixed with everything peaceful.

I always argue that creative people are trapped between two worlds.

The real world and the world they wish to create.

For me, its a constant battle and struggle. So much to the fact that I conform.

And then find myself...in the midst of  a world of black wool suits, polka dot ties, pencil skirts, and financial reports.

When I would much rather be laying on a boat in the middle of a lake hidden between two mountain peaks eating a homemade turkey sandwich and drawing animals out of the clouds.

The irony of this is that moments prior to seeing this video,

I re-enrolled myslef into a few more years of ill fittings mens suits, scholastic achievement and the over exposure of my brain to education.

In two years I'll have a Masters Degree in Psychology and in three more perhaps I'll be Dr. Shann....

one thing is for sure....I'll still wish I was laying on that boat.....playing hide and go seek with the sun.

I have seen in a very long time.
The pastel trend will be trickling into the mass
markets soon I suppose.

 For the last few seasons we have seen Men's wear slowing making it's way into women's fashion.

From the boyfriend jean, to the over sized sweat shirt we have proved that we feel sexy in HIS clothes.

With the feme edge of course!!!

In the nook of Brentwood this little jewel has found a home.

Curate Couture a carefully crafted Boutique filled with delicious vintage goodies and lavish consignment pieces has planted its heels and is making a statement.

 Curate, is co-owned by two women I have had the honor of looking up to and becoming friends with

Vintage Guru Micaela Beckwith formerly of Decadestwo and Miriam Sternoff stylist.

These two ladies have joined forces with Lauren Raquel and have already created a vintage utopia.

 Stepping one foot in the door is like walking into the closet of your favorite 1950's movie star.

It is completely breath taking.
